BLENDER EXPERIMENTS

Recently I have been learning Blender, an open source 3D graphics and animation software. Although a little daunting to begin with I am definitely making some progress and have created a few interesting things as I learn. Here’s a few examples…

OMM wrecking ballThis is frame taken from an animation of a wrecking ball destroying the OMM logo, really fun to create although took quite a bit of time.

OMM X-MAS MESSAGE

This is a static scene, created just before christmas. Mostly playing with materials and lighting. It was a challenge to import an appropriate svg file of the text and graphics, and also to alter this properly in Blender to allow it to be used to create a 3D object. I definitely learned a lot along the way!
